CALL FOR PAPERS

The Journal of Islamic Humanities and Social Inquiry (JIHSI) invites scholars, researchers, and practitioners to submit their original manuscripts for publication in upcoming issues. JIHSI is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing interdisciplinary research in Islamic humanities and social sciences. The journal welcomes high-quality contributions that explore Islam and Muslim societies from diverse perspectives, including textual, historical, sociological, and contemporary approaches.

Focus and Scope
Submissions MAY address, but are not limited to, the following areas:
- Islamic philosophy, theology, mysticism, and ethics
- Islamic arts, literature, and cultural heritage
- Sociology and anthropology of Muslim societies
- Gender, identity, and education in Islamic contexts
- Politics, governance, and social movements in Muslim communities
- Islam and modernity, globalization, and digital society
- Interfaith relations and contemporary global issues

Publication Schedule
JIHSI is published twice a year, June Issue and December Issue
Manuscripts are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year.

Submission Guidelines
- Manuscripts must be original and not under review elsewhere
- Articles should be written in English, Arabic, or Bahasa Indonesia
- Length: approximately 5,000–8,000 words
- All submissions must follow the journal’s Author Guidelines

All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure academic quality and integrity.
