The Journal of Islamic Humanities and Social Inquiry (JIHSI) is committed to the principles of Open Access to ensure that research remains a public good. We believe that providing immediate, worldwide, and barrier-free access to the full text of research articles is essential for the global advancement of knowledge, particularly in the interdisciplinary study of Islamic humanities and social sciences.

Immediate Open Access
JIHSI provides immediate open access to its content. This means that all articles are made available on the journal’s website to all users immediately upon publication. There are no embargo periods, and no registration or subscription is required to read, download, or share the published work.

Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0)
All articles published in JIHSI are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. This is the most flexible license available and is considered the "gold standard" for open-access publishing. Under this license:
•    Share: Users are free to copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
•    Adapt: Users are free to remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially.
Condition of Use:
•    Attribution: Users must give appropriate credit to the original authors and JIHSI, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. This attribution must be done in a reasonable manner that does not suggest the journal or authors endorse the user’s specific use of the work.
