Advertising Policy
The Journal of Islamic Humanities and Social Inquiry (JIHSI) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of editorial independence and academic integrity. To ensure that editorial decisions are not influenced by commercial interests, JIHSI adheres to the following advertising policy:
General Principles
JIHSI primarily focuses on the dissemination of scholarly research in the fields of Islamic humanities and social sciences. As a reputable academic journal, JIHSI generally does not accept commercial advertising for products or services on its website or within its published issues. This policy ensures that the journal's content remains objective and free from external commercial pressure.
Editorial Independence
The Editorial Board of JIHSI operates independently of any potential advertising or sponsorship. Editorial decisions to accept, revise, or reject a manuscript are based solely on its scientific merit, originality, and alignment with the journal's Focus and Scope, regardless of any financial or commercial considerations.
Academic Announcements
While commercial advertisements are not permitted, JIHSI may, at the discretion of the Editor-in-Chief, publish announcements related to:
• Calls for Papers for JIHSI or its partner institutions.
• Information regarding academic conferences, workshops, or seminars relevant to Islamic studies and social inquiry.
• Announcements of new scholarly book releases in the field.
These announcements are provided as a service to the academic community and do not constitute an endorsement by the journal or its sponsoring institution.
Separation of Content
In the event that any sponsored content or academic announcements are included, they will be clearly distinguished from editorial and peer-reviewed content. JIHSI ensures that readers can easily differentiate between scholarly research and any supplementary information.
Policy Review
This Advertising Policy is reviewed periodically by the Editorial Board to ensure it continues to meet the ethical standards of COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) and other international indexing bodies.
